My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, providing easy access to various areas in Grand Rapids, with plenty of dining options nearby. I stayed at this hotel and found it to be conveniently located near the airport with good access to local attractions and major roads. The rooms were a bit disappointing as they had issues like the AC needing maintenance and broken locks on the beds, but the price was fair. The service was subpar with unhelpful staff and confusion about charges. The dining experience was average, with limited options and early shortages. However, the hotel facilities were decent.
I was over the moon with the friendly service at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, but unfortunately, they smelled strongly of urine and had dirt and grime on every surface. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, especially the ones working the desk at 9 pm. They went above the norm with friendliness and helpfulness, which made up for some other negatives. The location was fine, with numerous food options but under construction. The dining experience was very comforting, a nice way to warm up and start the day, even though it was surrounded by cops all morning. Facilities were lacking, and I will not be staying at any Baymont location again.
