The staff WAS polite.

I expected an inner garden view. Instead, I faced the street. The air conditioning malfunctioned. Air circulation was insufficient. The shower drain was clogged, so bathroom floors flooded during showers, AND water accumulated for days.

the location was very convenient. it gave easy access to luxembourg gardens. the staff was helpful with directions. i appreciated the cleanliness of my room and fresh linens.

my room was small, i found limited space for luggage. the lack of a wardrobe was also a problem. i noted a school nearby was quite loud during weekdays.
