Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach And Golf Resort, Rio Grande

The hotel has a breathtaking ocean view but lacks in safety measures. Unfortunately, my room was a complete disappointment - it was dirty, dusty, and had an old, unpleasant smell lingering throughout. On a positive note, the service was friendly and helpful, once I managed to get the attention of the staff. The location is great, right on the beach, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. Despite its flaws, the dining experience was surprisingly incredible. The hotel facilities were adequate, but in need of an update.

My four-night stay at Wyndham Rio Mar during spring break in the Junior Rainforest Suite was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms are worth upgrading for, but my view was of the kids' playground and maintenance areas, not exactly what I expected upon check-in. However, the friendly staff and accommodating service made up for the initial disappointment. The location is great for outdoor activities but lacking in restaurant options, and the dining experience had its ups and downs. Despite these aspects, the overall experience was enjoyable and memorable.
