Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were fantastic with great views of the swimming pool, but they felt a bit ordinary and overpriced for Cambodia. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to the incredibly helpful duty manager Det Bong, but some aspects didn't live up to a 5-star standard upon arrival. The location was outstanding, offering a nostalgic ambiance and great architecture, even though some areas like the Elephant Lounge were not well-maintained. The dining variety was excellent, although I wished for fresher towels and quicker cleanup in some spots.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were gorgeous, roomy, and even had two complete bathrooms which was a fantastic surprise. Being upgraded to a Cabana Suite with a city view was a cool experience, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. The service was top-notch, with pleasant and joyful staff who made sure every moment was enjoyable. The location couldn't have been better, offering outstanding architecture and cleanliness. The dining experience was vast and delicious, offering everything from French pastries to Asian foods. Overall, a fantastic stay with a few minor downsides.
