Grand Hotel Via Veneto, Rome

During my stay, the rooms were facing a dirty marquise above the main entrance and were small for the price of 680 euros per night, situated at the side of the building. The service, although accommodating and courteous for the smallest things, was handled by mostly teenagers who needed to look up information. The location was incredibly expensive but perfect for its proximity to major landmarks and wonderful restaurants, including a view of Rome. The dining experience, while below expectations for a 5-star luxury hotel, did offer a good variety and quality of food. The facilities at the hotel were adequate but not exceptional.

The rooms are nice with all the things you'd expect. I upgraded the room from a junior suite to a family room, and after moving to the 5th floor, everything was very good. The location is excellent, perfect for sightseeing and felt very safe for evening walks. However, the dining experience was below expectations for a luxury hotel.

The service was top-notch, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location was ideal, away from the hustle and bustle but still within walking distance of key attractions. The dining options were fabulous, with a variety of buffet items and made-to-order delicacies. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall great experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were of a very high standard, offering a bath with shower, one vanity basin, and toilet. The warm ambiance was lovely, though it got a bit too warm at times which made it a bit challenging to sleep, especially with jetlag upon arrival.

Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement in service.

The hotel offered warm and clean rooms with free WiFi for multiple devices. While breakfast was a bit slow and unexciting, opening the windows helped regulate the room temperature since there was no AC available on warm days in Rome.
